For this client we developed job competencies for all operating employees and then using competencies as a road map to develop learning materials (including e-learning materials) and loaded them in to the SkilSure software. The SkilSure system is a competency based, self-directed learning solution which importantly includes both workplace assessment and knowledge assessment as an integral part of the solution. It has been designed to fit the requirements of process industries, it includes functionality that tracks expiry of competence and notifies users of the need to update knowledge of processor/procedure change. The SkilSure system is a dynamic one, it has been designed to work in a production environment where people and processes change over time.
